Private Egekent Hospital organized a special dinner and award ceremony for all its employees on March 14 Medicine Day. The meaningful night was attended by Pamukkale Mayor Avni Örki, Merkezefendi Mayor Şeniz Doğan, and former Çivril Mayor and Chief Physician of the Provincial Ambulance Service Dr. Gürcan Güven. Chairman of the Board of Egekent Hospital, Mustafa Üstek, stated that they will continue to work to provide the best healthcare services to Denizli.

 

 

As every year, this year as well, Private Egekent Hospital did not forget its employees on March 14 Medicine Day. With a special night held at Nisch Restaurant, the hospital celebrated the day of all healthcare staff.

 

The special evening was attended not only by the administrative staff, doctors, and other healthcare workers, but also by Pamukkale Mayor Avni Örki, Merkezefendi Mayor Şeniz Doğan, and former Çivril Mayor and Chief Physician of the Provincial Ambulance Service Dr. Gürcan Güven.

 

At the award ceremony held before the dinner, plaques were presented to doctors who had dedicated their years to healthcare. Internal Medicine Specialist Dr. Selahattin Hersekli, Neurology Specialist Dr. Ömür Atacan Atasoy, and Pulmonology Specialist Dr. Nurşen Avkan received their awards from Chairman of the Board of Egekent Hospital Mustafa Üstek, Pamukkale Mayor Avni Örki, and Merkezefendi Mayor Şeniz Doğan.

 

ÜSTEK: “OUR GOAL IS TO PROVIDE THE BEST HEALTHCARE SERVICE TO DENIZLI”

In his speech following the award ceremony, Chairman of the Board of Egekent Hospital, Mustafa Üstek, expressed the joy of celebrating their 21st year in the sector and their 2nd year as Egekent Hospital. Üstek said: “As you all know, this is our 2nd year under the shadow of the pandemic. Despite all the challenges, we have equipped our hospital’s physical conditions with the latest technology and made academic advancements. We believe that institutions can only achieve success by constantly renewing themselves and setting new goals. By ensuring consistent growth in this way, we will continue to serve the people of Denizli. Our goal, together with our valued doctors and staff, is to provide the best healthcare service in Denizli. In this context, we have made it our mission to prioritize employee trust, apply the quality program in healthcare in the best way possible, and deliver pioneering healthcare services in Denizli. In his speech, Pamukkale Mayor Avni Örki expressed his great respect for healthcare workers, saying: “We went through very difficult times. While we stayed in our homes to protect ourselves during the pandemic, you risked your lives to save us. You made great sacrifices, and we can never repay you. I wish God’s mercy upon all healthcare workers who lost their lives in the line of duty. Happy Medicine Day, we are glad you are here.”

 

DOĞAN: “HEALTHCARE WORKERS ARE THE BRIGHT FACE OF THIS COUNTRY”

Merkezefendi Mayor Şeniz Doğan said that if we are alive today, it is thanks to healthcare workers, expressing gratitude: “The pandemic conditions showed us once again how much we need our doctors. During the pandemic, we witnessed your dedicated work once more. We are glad you are here; if we are alive today, it is because of you. We are always by your side and your supporters. Healthcare workers are the bright face of this country. Happy March 14 Medicine Day.”
