The patient, whose lung was functioning only one-third due to pneumonia, regained her health thanks to the treatment at Private Egekent Hospital, leaving the hospital walking after arriving in a wheelchair.
Ayşe Harman, a 54-year-old resident of Denizli, was admitted to the hospital with complaints of cough and shortness of breath. During her treatment, she was placed in intensive care and remained there for 13 days. After being discharged, her complaints did not subside, so she applied to Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology Specialist Dr. Ramazan Kenan Arıcan at Private Egekent Hospital. Following tests and examinations, Harman was diagnosed with pneumonia. It was determined that only one-third of her lung was functioning. She underwent a week of medication treatment there. After treatment, Harman, who experienced the joy of being able to stand up and breathe easily, regained her health and was discharged from the hospital.
“I am leaving here walking”
Stating that her quality of life had decreased during the process, Harman said: “I was in the intensive care unit of another hospital for 13 days. They told me only one-third of my lung was working. I came to Mr. Ramazan upon recommendation. He said, ‘I will get you back on your feet.’ I couldn’t breathe, I couldn’t walk. I came here in a wheelchair. Now, thank God, I am fine and leaving here on my feet.”
“She continues her life in good health”
Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology Specialist Dr. Ramazan Kenan Arıcan said: “When our patient came to us, she had suffered from severe viral pneumonia, and with the medical treatments we administered, she improved. She continues her daily life in good health.”
