CURRICULUM VITAE

Hello, I am Dr. Bilal Kılıçarslan, born in 1985 in Konya. I graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2009. On March 14, 2011, I started my residency training at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Neurosurgery, and completed my specialization training, receiving the title of ‘Neurosurgeon’ on September 9, 2016. Between 2017-2018, I worked at Bitlis Tatvan State Hospital to complete my compulsory state service. From 2018 to 2024, I worked at Denizli State Hospital. Since June 2024, I have been serving at Özel Egekent Hospital in Denizli. I have been married since 2016 and I am a father of two children.
Although my main area of interest is Spine Surgery, I am also engaged in several other fields within Neurosurgery. I also perform pain management procedures such as Epidural, Transforaminal, Facet, and Sacroiliac joint injections, which are non-surgical treatment options for back, neck, and lumbar pain. Especially in the field of Spinal Surgery, I strive to follow various meetings and training to apply the most up-to-date approaches in treatment planning. For suitable patients, I perform endoscopic (minimally invasive) treatment of lumbar disc herniation.
