The 65-year-old patient living in Denizli, who was brought to Private Egekent Hospital unconscious and dependent on respiration, learned that he had a tumor in his brain. Following the necessary treatments, the approximately 5-centimeter tumor in his brain was successfully removed through surgery.
Akif Gün, a resident of the Çivril district, had been suffering from loss of strength, imbalance, inability to walk, headaches, and memory problems, which made his life unbearable. In addition to losing his mobility, Gün had to live dependent on assistance due to serious health issues. After suddenly falling ill, he was rushed to the emergency department of Private Egekent Hospital. Upon evaluation and brain MRI performed by Neurosurgery Specialists Assoc. Prof. Ergün Karavelioğlu and Assoc. Prof. Memduh Kerman, a 5-centimeter tumor was detected. Learning that the tumor was located in the visual center on the right side of his brain, the patient underwent surgery. After the successful operation, Gün left the hospital walking on his own without support.
