Grandmother living in Afyon and her granddaughter living in Denizli underwent obesity surgery on the same day at Private Egekent Hospital, where they applied to get rid of their 134 kilograms of excess weight. While the grandmother, who had additional health issues, and her granddaughter, who was uncomfortable with her weight, both aimed not only to lose weight but also to regain their health.
60-year-old grandmother Keziban Tuluk and 21-year-old granddaughter Firdevs Tuluk applied to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Onur Birsen, General Surgery Specialist at Private Egekent Hospital, to get rid of their excess weight. Following the necessary examinations and evaluations at the hospital, it was decided that both would undergo obesity surgery.
On the same day, grandmother and granddaughter underwent consecutive operations. After the successful surgeries, they were discharged from the hospital two days later.
