Students who had the opportunity to see the ambulance up close found answers to their curious questions
Denizli Private Egekent Hospital introduced the Red Crescent to Hayme Hatun Kindergarten students on the occasion of Red Crescent Week and presented the ambulance, which is one of the most important parts of emergency health services.
Nurses Nurcan Ürük and Ayper Aykur from Private Egekent Hospital came together with Hayme Hatun Kindergarten students as part of Red Crescent Week activities. In the event organized in cooperation with Hayme Hatun Kindergarten and Private Egekent Hospital, the students received information about the Red Crescent and emergency health services and had fun. Within the scope of the event, students had the chance to see the ambulance up close and learned about the equipment. The students tried on neck collars suitable for them, examined each other with a stethoscope, watched their heartbeats on the monitor, and heard how the siren sounded, unable to hide their surprise and excitement.
Nurse Nurcan Ürük from Denizli Private Egekent Hospital informed the students about Red Crescent Week and the importance of the Red Crescent. Telling the students that the Red Crescent is an important aid organization of Turkey, Nurse Ürük explained in an entertaining way that the Red Crescent supports social solidarity and delivers shelter, nutrition, and health assistance to those in need during natural disasters.
Students, who were also given information about patient transport, asked their questions to the nurses of Egekent Hospital and satisfied their curiosity.
