Prof. Dr. Bilgin EMRECAN

Born in Çorum in 1973. Received his medical degree from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, English Program, in 1998. Completed his residency training at İzmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital and became a Cardiovascular Surgery Specialist in 2005.

He received further training in minimally invasive cardiac surgery and heart valve repair at Universitat Leipzig, Herzzentrum / Leipzig, Germany. In 2010, he was appointed as an Associate Professor at Pamukkale University and worked as an Associate Professor at a private hospital between 2010-2012. In 2012, he returned to Pamukkale University Faculty of Medicine as an Associate Professor and was promoted to Professor in 2017.

He continues his academic and clinical career as a Professor of Cardiovascular Surgery at Pamukkale University Faculty of Medicine. Since 2019, he has also been serving at Private Egekent Hospital.
