Biography

Born in Çorum in 1973. He completed his medical education at the English Medicine Program of Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1998. He received his specialty training at İzmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital and became a specialist in Cardiovascular Surgery in 2005.

He trained in minimally invasive cardiac surgery and heart valve repair at Universität Leipzig, Herzzentrum, Leipzig – Germany. He became an associate professor at Pamukkale University in 2010 and worked as an associate professor at a private hospital between 2010–2012. In 2012 he was reappointed as an associate professor at Pamukkale University Faculty of Medicine, and became a professor in 2017. He currently continues his work as a professor of cardiovascular surgery at Pamukkale University Faculty of Medicine.

He has been working at Özel Egekent Hospital since 2019.
