BIOGRAPHY

Hello, I am Dr. Bilal Kılıçarslan, born in Konya in 1985. I graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2009. I completed my residency in the Department of Neurosurgery at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine, which I began on 14 March 2011, and received the title of 'Neurosurgery Specialist' on 9 September 2016. In 2017–2018 I fulfilled my compulsory public service at Bitlis Tatvan State Hospital. Between 2018–2024 I worked at Denizli State Hospital. Since June 2024 I have been providing services at Özel Egekent Hospital, also in Denizli. I have been married since 2016 and am a father of two.

While my main area of interest is Spinal Surgery, I also focus on several different topics within Neurosurgery. I perform Epidural, Transforaminal, Facet and Sacroiliac joint injections and pain treatments, which are among the non-surgical treatment options for lower-back, back and neck pain. Particularly in the field of Spinal Surgery, I follow various conferences and courses in order to plan treatment with up-to-date approaches. In suitable patients, I perform the endoscopic (closed) treatment of lumbar disc herniations.
