Biography

Uzm. Dr. Alperen Emre AKGÜN

Born in İzmir in 1987. After completing his primary, secondary and high school education in Denizli, he completed his undergraduate education at Süleyman Demirel University in 2011. In 2011 he worked as a general practitioner at Çivril State Hospital. He completed his Cardiology fellowship at Pamukkale University, which he began in 2015, in 2021. Between 2021–2023 he worked as a Cardiology specialist at Uşak Training and Research Hospital. He has been working at Egekent Hospital since 2023.

His specialty thesis received the Best Cardiopulmonary Vascular System Research Award from the Turkish Society of Cardiology in 2019. He has attended many national and international meetings. He has attended courses on the treatment of arrhythmias and performed these procedures at Uşak Training and Research Hospital.

He is married and a father of four, and has a good command of English.
